Property listings, photographs, prices, availability dates, descriptions and contact details are supplied by the advertiser. While we moderate listings and may remove content that appears false, unlawful or misleading, we cannot independently confirm every detail of every listing.

• Always view a property in person before paying anything.
• Confirm ownership or the right to let before signing a lease or paying a deposit.
• Do not pay any money to secure a property you have not inspected or to a person you have not verified.
• Treat pressure to pay quickly, unusually low rent, or a refusal to meet in person as warning signs, and report the listing to us.

Verification badges record specific, limited checks — nothing more. They are not a character reference, a credit check, a guarantee of ownership, or an assurance that a transaction will go well. • We do not guarantee the honesty, solvency, identity, conduct or suitability of any landlord, tenant, visitor or service provider.
• We do not guarantee the condition, legality, compliance, safety, zoning or habitability of any advertised property.
• Contractors and service providers: Rent Direct Hub is purely an advertising platform. We do not employ, appoint, supervise, guarantee, endorse or act as an agent for any contractor or service provider listed in the directory, and we are not responsible for the contractor or the work performed.
• Rent Direct Hub will not be held liable for any damages, losses, injury, poor workmanship, disputes, claims, costs or other consequences arising from any contractor or service-provider interaction, work, service, agreement, payment or transaction.
• You deal with contractors and service providers at your own risk and must independently verify their suitability, credentials, pricing, insurance, workmanship and any other relevant details before engaging them.
• We do not guarantee that a property will be let, that an enquiry will be answered, or that a listing will produce any particular result.

Report a suspicious listing, a suspected scam or an inaccurate advertisement to Rentdirecthub@hmrprop.co.za. We investigate reports and may remove listings or suspend accounts. Criminal conduct should also be reported to the South African Police Service.
